BELECTRIC Drive develops an intelligent charging infrastructure linking photovoltaics with e-mobility.

Solar energy is especially suited for being combined with electric vehicles, since energy generation and storage happen at the same place, i.e. under a carport. Via the BELECTRIC web portal the charging boxes are read out, monitored, and controlled. The system maximises the percentage of solar power in the vehicle’s batteries. It is part of a management system that stabilises local power grids.

Already a small photovoltaic system on your own roof produces enough electricity for clean mobility:  A 3 kWp installation is sufficient for 15‘000 km/year (model calculation for Lower Franconia, Germany).

Several solar power plants have been built for BELECTRIC Drive. They cover the energy need of the fleet deployed many times that amount.
